An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor, supporting the delivery of major power transmission infrastructure projects across the Highlands.

Based in Inverness, you ll be part of a dynamic site team working on technically challenging groundworks packages for high-voltage power projects a key part of Scotland s energy infrastructure upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for groundworks and civil infrastructure on power transmission sites

• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

• Ensuring accurate levels and positioning for excavations, foundations, ducting, and structures

• Supporting the management team to deliver projects on time and within quality standards

• Liaising with supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives

• Maintaining accurate records and as-built data

• Promoting and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards on site

What We re Looking For:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar discipline)

• Solid experience in a Site Engineer role, preferably within the energy, utilities or civils sector

• Skilled in setting out using GPS and total station equipment

• Ability to manage own workload and adapt across multiple phases/sites

• Strong understanding of safety requirements on high-risk infrastructure projects

• Full UK driving licence
