Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil infrastructure team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. You will provide technical support on site, ensuring works are delivered to programme, safely and to specification.

Key tasks include setting out, surveying, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring RAMS are observed, with opportunities to develop within a major UK infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Prev site engineering experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong setting out and surveying knowledge.
• Experience using GPS and setting-out equipment.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Experience with buried services and safe excavation practices.
• Ability to interpret RAMS and follow project procedures.
• Health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• CAT & Genny training.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Site Engineer - Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading UK infrastructure and construction organisation on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a background in civil engineering, infrastructure or construction to work as part of an established project delivery team on major infrastructure works.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support across site operations, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

About You

We are looking for a technically capable Site Engineer with previous experience working within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction environments.

You should have:

• Previous Site Engineering experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of setting out and engineering surveying.
• Experience using GPS and setting-out equipment.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Experience with buried services and safe excavation practices.
• Ability to interpret RAMS and follow project procedures.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• CAT & Genny training.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Desirable

• Working towards professional membership such as ICE.
• NRSWA qualification.
• Temporary Works experience or TWS qualification.
• Relevant engineering, construction or vocational qualifications.
• Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
