Job summary

Une entreprise bien établie est à la recherche d'un Ingénieur de Site motivé pour un projet majeur de centrale nucléaire au Royaume-Uni. Le candidat sera responsable de l'exécution technique, de la qualité et de la sécurité sur un site complexe et hautement réglementé. Une expérience avérée dans des projets d'infrastructure lourde est essentielle pour réussir dans ce rôle.

Qualifications

• Expérience en tant qu'ingénieur de site sur des projets d'infrastructure de grande envergure.
• Connaissance des travaux de RC et des cavités lourdes très souhaitée.
• Carte CSCS essentielle et souhaitable : SMSTS/SSSTS, premiers secours au travail.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer le réglage précis pour tous les travaux civils.
• Interpréter et mettre en œuvre des dessins techniques complexes.
• Conduire des inspections rigoureuses et gérer les ITP.

Job description

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset (Site-based) Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Duration: Long-term

The Role: Seeking a motivated Site Engineer to deliver critical civil engineering works on one of the UK's largest new nuclear power station projects. Drive technical execution, quality, and safety on this complex, highly regulated site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precise Setting Out: Accurately set out all civil works, managing survey equipment for exact levels and lines.
• Technical Execution: Interpret and implement complex engineering drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections (pre/post-pour), manage ITPs, and produce LTQRs.
• Safety First: Conduct daily H&S inspections and champion site safety.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor daily work progress and report to senior engineers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and support handover.
• Problem Solve: Assist in resolving site technical queries and issues.
• Temporary Works Support: Understand and implement temporary works designs and procedures.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
• Proven Site Engineer experience on large-scale infrastructure, heavy civils, or complex building projects.
• Experience in RC works, earthworks, or heavy civils highly desirable.
• Proficient in setting out and surveying equipment.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• CSCS Card essential. SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work desirable.
• Valid UK driving license.
