Salary: £33k + Pkg

Location: Bath

Regions: South West, Wiltshire

A prestigious engineering sub-contractor specializing in design and construction for all types of buildings and structures is currently looking for a Site Engineer. Our client manufactures over a million meters of precast concrete piles annually.

The successful candidate will work on-site in Bath, responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of piling works.

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

• Manage, monitor, and interpret contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Coordinate with the local authority (where appropriate) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Communicate regularly with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, surveyors), including attending meetings to update on progress.
• Manage day-to-day site activities, supervise and monitor the site labor force and subcontractors.
• Plan work efficiently, organizing plant and site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Prepare reports as required.
