Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to join the WAAP team based in Thames Valley. The role is site-based, full-time and permanent, with a focus on hands-on electrical installation work on Thames Water sites and supervising Kier electricians.

You will produce RAMS, manage ITPs, perform testing and inspections, and mentor electrical apprentices while ensuring safety and compliance with water industry standards. A strong track record in electrical installations is essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and relevant electrical qualifications are required.
• C&G 2330/2360 or equivalent electrical installation certificates expected.
• NVQ Level 3 and IEE 18th edition wiring regs are preferred.
• SMSTS, Confined Spaces and 2391 Inspect & Test qualifications are desirable.
• Experience in the Water Industry with understanding of sewage/water treatment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install LV electrical systems on Thames Water sites, including temporary and permanent works.
• Supervise Kier electricians and mentor apprentices on site.
• Prepare and review RAMS, manage ITPs, and maintain safety documentation.
• Coordinate safe isolation of LV systems and issue PTW and Isolation Certificates.
• Perform electrical audits and ensure works meet Thames Water asset standards.
