Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to join our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. This hands-on role covers electrical installation works on Thames Water sites, supervising electricians and mentoring apprentices.

You will ensure compliance with safety and asset standards, produce RAMS, manage ITPs, and perform electrical testing across permanent and temporary installations.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and valid JIB Gold Card / ECS card.
• Proven experience in the Water Industry with strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold C&G 2330/2360, NVQ Level 3 and IEE 18th edition wiring regs.
• Have SMSTS, Confined Spaces and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test qualifications.
• Knowledge of sewage and water treatment systems and M&E plant.

Responsibilities

• Installing LV electrical systems, containment, power and control cables, and testing installations.
• Supervising electricians and mentoring apprentices.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS and managing ITPs in the common data environment.
• Providing safe isolations of LV systems and issuing safety documents.
• Conducting electrical audits and ensuring works align with asset standards.
