Arup is recruiting an Associate Director to oversee Site Development across Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast, with the majority time in Newcastle. You will lead the Northern Geography's Site Development team, guide multi-disciplinary collaboration, and drive design excellence, client engagement and market growth for major masterplanning and data centre initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Chartered status (CEng, MICE or equivalent).
• Significant experience leading teams, projects and client relationships at senior level.
• Strong understanding of development-led projects including masterplanning and mixed-use schemes.

Responsabilités

• Lead part of the Site Development team in the Northern Geography, setting a clear vision and developing leadership capabilities.
• Provide senior technical leadership on complex site development projects from feasibility to construction support.
• Act as Site Development lead on major masterplanning and mixed-use schemes with integrated civil and infrastructure strategies.
• Lead and manage client relationships with developers, investors, local authorities and contractors.
• Identify opportunities and help shape future service offerings and market growth.
