Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Engineer with civil engineering experience to join the team in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on setting out level and survey control, ensuring detailed works align with contract drawings and regular checks are performed.

You will contribute to health and safety, environmental compliance, and value engineering opportunities while producing site documentation and look-ahead planning with the Site Agent.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out on civil engineering projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or HNC (or equivalent).
• Familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company procedures and legal obligations.
• Establish level and survey control for contracts.
• Set out detailed works as per drawings and ensure regular checks.
• Produce 2-week look-ahead with Site Agent.
• Maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance.
• Assist with procurement scheduling and resource planning.
