Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive chaperone to welcome visitors and support secure movement around the client site on a zero hours contract. You will coordinate with front of house, security and service requestors to ensure escorted access and safe transport for mobility-impaired visitors.

Key attributes include a smart appearance, excellent communication, and a proven customer service record. A full UK driving licence and the ability to obtain SC clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Smart, presentable appearance.
• Full UK driving licence with no endorsements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record in customer service and/or similar role.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise.
• Ability to attain and retain security clearance to SC level.
• Able to work independently on a zero hours contract.

Responsibilities

• Receive and welcome all visitors to the site, ensuring escorted access.
• Liaise with Front of House/Reception, site security and service requestor to deliver chaperone service.
• Ensure vehicles used in chaperone service are maintained and in good condition.
• Assist mobility-impaired visitors with transportation and access on site.
• Remain with the person under chaperone until safely delivered to security-cleared personnel.
• Support the client and OCS by providing additional chaperone services when needed.
• Follow OCS Code of Conduct and client rules, maintaining high discipline.
