Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to join a dedicated team at a busy client site. You will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment, protect people, property, and assets, and deliver a professional service to employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence, the right to work in the UK, and BS7858 vetting clearance. You will monitor security and building management systems, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with calm and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed
