Job summary

A local role at a site in Tewkesbury requires a practical, hands-on caretaker with basic literacy and numeracy. You will maintain the workspace, manage waste and respond to routine issues, while supporting safety and housekeeping standards.

Training is provided and the position starts temporary with potential to go permanent. Salary is £13.50 per hour for 37.5 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and early steps to accommodate site familiarity.

Qualifications

• Local to Tewkesbury with own means to travel.
• Willingness to learn; training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and ask for guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external areas to a high standard.
• Waste and recycling management - coordinating contractors.
• Respond to routine site issues and maintenance problems.
• Identify and escalate site defects and safety concerns.
• Assist with contractor access, deliveries, room set-ups and small moves.
