Maidenhead School in Maidenhead, Berkshire is seeking a Trainee Caretaker / Junior Maintenance Assistant. The role offers hands-on training, the chance to learn maintenance skills and the path to progress into a Site Manager position in the future.

You will carry out basic repairs, painting and general DIY tasks, supporting day-to-day upkeep of buildings and grounds. Term-time hours and flexible shifts are available, with full training and a supportive team.

Formación

• Practical, hands-on individuals with interest in maintenance and repairs.
• Basic experience in general maintenance, painting, decorating, carpentry or related trades.
• Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills with training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out basic maintenance, repairs, painting and decorating.
• Help maintain school buildings, facilities and grounds.
• Assist with site security, opening and closing procedures.
• Support with deliveries, moving equipment and preparing rooms for activities.
• Assist with school events and external lettings.
• Learn under an experienced Site Manager and progress to greater responsibilities.
