Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Site Manager for a 70-unit block in North Kent. The project remains live with approximately 16 weeks left, focusing on carpentry and M&E 2nd fix and all internal finishes.

The candidate must deliver the block standalone, report to a Project Director, and lead sequencing, short-term programming, trade management, inductions, permits, toolbox talks, and H&S influence while meeting tight deadlines and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver the block standalone under a Project Director.
• Experience coordinating 70-unit flats with carpentry & M&E 2nd fix.
• Proficient in programming, sequencing and site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations for a 70-unit block and manage trades.
• Implement short-term programming and sequencing to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks with the team.
• Raise permits, monitor H&S, and drive QA on site.
• Ensure timely delivery within the 16-week window.

Job description

I am currently in need of a Site Manager for a 70-unit block of flats in North Kent. The project is currently live with circa 16 weeks left to go with works being undertaken are primarily carpentry & M&E 2nd fix all internal finishes.

The Candidate - must be capable of delivering the block of flats standalone reporting into a Project Director and be able to do sequencing, short term programming, trade management, site inductions, raise permits, toolbox talks, work to tight deadlines, influence H&S on site, Q/A etc.

Site tickets required are SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified.

My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate and are looking to start the suitable by mid September.
