Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd are recruiting a Site-Based Project Manager for projects in St Helens, with oversight of industrial, hotels, care homes and commercial sectors. This role focuses on delivering schemes up to £12 million, starting in September and progressing a strong project pipeline.

The successful candidate will manage site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme, budget and quality.

Site-Based Project Manager

St Helens | £60,000-£65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

An established contractor is seeking an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the delivery of construction projects valued up to £12 million.

The successful candidate will initially lead an Industrial Unit development in Merseyside commencing in September, before progressing onto future projects within the Hotels, Care Homes, and Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from site setup through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and lead site meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering construction projects.
• Experience managing projects up to £12 million in value.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to drive programmes and manage subcontractor performance.
