Job summary

Assystem, a leading nuclear engineering group in the UK, is seeking a Project Support Officer to join the Delivery Team and oversee governance and administration for infrastructure projects.

The role is site-based, three days per week on site, with an umbrella contractor arrangement and SC clearance to start. You will coordinate governance, reports, and stakeholder engagement to drive project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience administering projects using governance frameworks.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365.
• Strong administration and governance skills.
• Effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Organised with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Organise governance meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, reports, and governance documentation.
• Monitor project risks and issues, supporting resolution with stakeholders.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly managed.
