Job summary

Solomons Europe seeks a Project Quantity Surveyor to act as a trusted commercial advisor embedded within client delivery teams. You will work across NEC4 projects, supporting commercial governance, risk management, and contract administration on major infrastructure and engineering ventures.

You’ll frequently be on site, collaborating with delivery teams to influence contract performance while delivering robust financial reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel
• Proven experience of supporting clients on live projects through end-to-end life cycle
• Experience in forecasting, CVR, and financial reporting
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ideally NEC4 contracts knowledge
• Ideally pursuing RICS/CIPS/ICE membership
• Ideally experienced in multidisciplinary project teams

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual support across NEC4 projects
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams
• Identify opportunities, manage risk, and drive commercial performance
• Support contract administration and commercial governance
• Help develop smarter and more innovative ways of working
• Contribute to successful project outcomes through proactive problem-solving and sound commercial judgement
