Job summary

Solomons Europe, a leading NEC4‑specialist Quantity Surveying practice, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be embedded with client delivery teams across NEC4 projects in the UK. You’ll lead NEC4 subcontract procurement, administration and cost forecasting, working on-site with diverse stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with Solomons management to shape solutions, drive commercial clarity, and deliver safer, smarter project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Engineering (HNC/HND considered).
• Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel.
• Client-focused, commercially astute, and skilled in fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Ideally hold a professional membership (RICS/CIPS/ICE).
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts and contract strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead on NEC4 subcontract procurement, administration and cost forecasting.
• Work with client delivery teams and stakeholders to drive commercial clarity.
• On-site collaboration with project teams to deliver results and real-time problem solving.
• Influence better ways of working and drive process improvements.
• Support management with insights and developmental opportunities.
