Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Materials Controller to support the PUMA project at Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull. The role involves leading the materials team, coordinating supply, storage and distribution to construction activities, and ensuring alignment with the project schedule.

Qualifications

• Lead and oversee a team responsible for materials management on and off site.
• Coordinate timely delivery of free issue materials in line with project schedule.
• Serve as the primary site/warehouse interface for materials management.
• Ensure day-to-day materials control meets project procedures.

Responsibilities

• To lead and oversee a team responsible for the management and distribution of materials on and off site.
• To liaise with the client team to ensure timely delivery of free issue materials in line with the project schedule.
• To provide the primary site / warehouse interface for the site's materials management.
• Responsible for the day-to-day materials control that meets site planned objectives and in compliance with Project Materials Procedure.
• Responsible for Manifests / Requisitions / Repairs / Rentals / Stockholding
• Promote alignment and adherence of client inventory processes to site personnel
• Ensuring storage of hazardous materials and environmental protection measures are in place
• Distribution of materials from the warehouse to site per construction requirements
