Job summary

Bilfinger UK is recruiting a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor for the PUMA project near Hull. The role is site-based, supporting the principal contractor with Health, Safety and Environmental management across large-scale mechanical works.

You will provide expert HSE guidance, conduct inspections and audits, review RAMS, mentor the workforce, and help implement a proactive safety culture on site. A NEBOSH certificate and TechIOSH are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor in construction/industrial sectors.
• Experience supporting Principal Contractor operations under CDM 2015.
• Proven ability to review RAMS and implement safe systems of work.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent HSE advice to management, supervisors and workers.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety tours to identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and determine root causes.
• Develop, review and maintain RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Promote workforce engagement and positive safety culture on site.
• Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and client standards.
