Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a highly visible Contract Manager to lead Cleaning, Security and Catering across three sites, predominantly at the Oldham site. This senior role demands hands-on leadership and a commitment to service excellence.

You’ll oversee multi-site FM operations, coach Heads of Department, manage budgets and KPIs, and build strong client relationships. SIA license and IOSH qualification are desirable, with UK driving licence and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site facilities management experience.
• Experience leading soft service teams across Cleaning, Security and Catering.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget & contract oversight.
• SIA Licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cleaning, Security and Catering operations across three sites.
• Be the visible operational lead, supporting Heads of Department and frontline teams.
• Drive standards, compliance and best practice in cleaning operations.
• Identify ways to improve service delivery, efficiency and customer experience across service lines.
• Coach and develop Heads of Department and frontline teams to build high-performance culture.
• Ensure contractual obligations, KPIs, SLAs and statutory requirements are met.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as trusted operational partner.
• Oversee budgets, labour management and P&L performance.
• Prioritise time across multiple sites to ensure visibility and consistency.
