Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an EHS Advisor to support a live project as a subcontractor. Based on site, you will deliver health and safety support, conduct inspections, review risk assessments, and ensure compliance with UK legislation.

You will engage with project teams, manage safety documentation, deliver toolbox talks, and lead incident investigations to foster a proactive safety culture on major M&E projects.

Qualifications

• Essential NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience reviewing RAMS, permits, lifting plans and safe systems of work.
• Experience carrying out site inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks.
• Identify risks and non-compliance and close out actions with site teams.
• Provide risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions as required.
• Monitor PPE compliance, site housekeeping, and general safety standards.
• Assist with incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are followed.
