Brookfield M&E Ltd is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing M&E contractor in Birmingham. You will work closely with project management and site teams to maintain high safety standards and ensure full compliance across the project.

The role focuses on conducting inspections, advising on legislation, reviewing RAMS and safe systems of work, and driving a proactive safety culture on a large Birmingham project.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering health and safety on construction sites.
• Ability to advise on legislation and best practice.
• Proven ability to review construction phase plans and safe systems of work.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Advise project teams on health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Review and assist with RAMS, construction phase plans and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, producing clear reports and corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide practical advice to management.
• Drive continuous improvement and encourage a proactive safety culture.

Health & Safety advisor required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, forward–thinking large M&E contractor with a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance. You will work closely with project management and site teams to maintain high standards, promote a positive safety culture and ensure full compliance throughout the project.

Health & Saftey advisor duties
