Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site-based Agent for the M6 Lune Gorge project in Tebay. You will support the project team to deliver a high-performing contract, liaising with client representatives and partners, and guiding the team on safety, quality and programme delivery.

The role requires a construction or civil engineering degree (or equivalent), CSCS/NH Passport, and a track record of delivering major structures within highways or infra. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires construction or civil engineering degree, HNC or equivalent.
• NH Passport and CSCS card are required.
• Proven experience delivering structures/bridges, ideally highways/infra.
• Solid knowledge of Temporary Works and site safety.
• Clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and oversee site operations.
• Manage Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters for areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate design, pre-construction, construction and close-out activities to meet contractual requirements.
• Assist Commercial Manager with subcontract administration and risk identification.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff on site.
