Robert May's School is inviting applications for a full-time Site Assistant to join our Estates team. You will help keep the premises, buildings and grounds well maintained and secure, while supporting hirers of our facilities, including the artificial turf pitch.
The role involves a range of practical tasks, from minor repairs and decorating to responding flexibly to the needs of students and the school. Training will be provided, including potential minibus driving duties.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake regular training to help them to fulfil their role successfully and to comply with health and safety standards. It is anticipated that the Site Assistant would also be willing to undertake training to drive the school's minibus. The role may also include working at heights and some lifting. Previous experience is desirable (building trade or good DIY skills would be an advantage) but training will be provided. Community lettings of our artificial turf pitch and other facilities are very popular. The successful applicant will be a key contact for our hirers and other community members.
The post is full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working hours form part of a rotating shift pattern (including early morning or evening hours) and occasional weekend hours may be required.
