Job summary

Robert May's School is inviting applications for a full-time Site Assistant to join our Estates team. You will help keep the premises, buildings and grounds well maintained and secure, while supporting hirers of our facilities, including the artificial turf pitch.

The role involves a range of practical tasks, from minor repairs and decorating to responding flexibly to the needs of students and the school. Training will be provided, including potential minibus driving duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building, maintenance or DIY is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake training including minibus driving.
• Ability to engage with school community and hirers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure school premises, buildings and grounds.
• Undertake minor repairs, maintenance and decorating.
• Provide a first-class service to hirers of facilities such as the artificial turf pitch.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of students and the school.
