Job summary

Manchester Communication Academy is offering a hands-on apprenticeship opportunity in Manchester. You will learn on the job while working toward a recognised apprenticeship qualification, alongside our Site and Facilities Team.

The role involves a variety of tasks such as setting up areas for events, minor repairs, painting and decorating, grounds care, deliveries, and routine site and safety checks, all contributing to a safe, well-maintained school environment.

Job description

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, fixing things, working outdoors and learning practical skills.

You don't need to arrive knowing how to do everything - that's what the apprenticeship is for. You'll work alongside experienced members of our Site and Facilities Team, learning on the job while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

One day you might be helping set up an area for a school event, another you could be learning how to complete a minor repair, painting and decorating, looking after our grounds, receiving deliveries or helping carry out routine site and safety checks.

This role will be offered as a full time (35 hours per week).
