Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Site Agent to lead projects across Scotland's water and infrastructure sites. You will manage site operations, ensure safety, quality and budget adherence, and coordinate with design and commercial teams to drive efficient delivery.

Key duties include overseeing temporary works coordination, liaising with clients, and travelling to multiple sites as required. A background in civil engineering and valid site qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS qualification is preferred.
• HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with design and commercial teams to improve delivery efficiency and manage risk.
• Manage the site safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client.
• Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting.
• Inform the client about project progress and address any concerns.
• Act as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure design compliance.
