Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Site Engineer to work on water sector projects across Scotland. The role is based on-site, supporting site managers and the QS team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient delivery.

You will apply civil engineering knowledge, manage setting out, and contribute to cost control and resource planning while travelling to various sites within the region.

Formación

• CSCS and SSSTS are required.
• HNC or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is expected.
• Understand civil engineering principles and practice.
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills; good communication.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your region.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring standard company procedures are adopted in setting out operations and ensuring effective communication to operatives and subcontractors.
• Site management and carrying out ‘as built’ surveys on completed works.
• Assist the Site Manager in set-up, ensuring systems and safety standards are in place; support planning and monitoring output.
• Financial control: logging deliveries, managing plant levels and costs.
• Assist the Site Manager and Quantity Surveying team by compiling data on resources used per activity.
