Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Site Engineer to support delivery of civil engineering works across Scotland, including water treatment upgrades and resilience schemes. You will be based on site, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards and helping drive efficient delivery across projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/degree) and possess CSCS and SSSTS, with strong organisational and communication skills and a valid driving licence to travel to

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS
• HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Understand civil engineering principles and practices
• Know methods, materials, and technical aspects relevant to the project
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region

Responsabilités

• Ensure standard company procedures are adopted in setting out operations and that effective communication methods are used with operatives and subcontractors
• Site Management and carrying out ‘as built’ surveys on completed works
• Assist the Site manager in initial set-up, ensuring company systems and procedures are in place and implemented; support safety standards throughout the project; support the site team in planning and monitoring output
• Financial Control and ensuring company cost systems are kept up to date by logging material deliveries, managing and reviewing plant levels
• Assisting the Site manager and Quantity Surveying Department by compiling data to record resources utilised on each activity.
