Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead civil engineering works at water treatment plants across the UK and Ireland. Based near Guildford, you will run civils delivery from mobilisation to handover, managing programmes and client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree, proven Site Agent experience, SMSTS, CSCS Manager, and CDM 2015 knowledge; full UK driving licence. Hybrid role: 3 days on site, 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, civil engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience as Site Agent on civil engineering projects, ideally in water/wastewater/utilities.
• Strong planning skills to build, manage and report on programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs, valuations and change.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders on live operational sites.
• SMSTS and a valid CSCS card (Manager level), with a good understanding of CDM 2015.
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day delivery of civil works at wastewater treatment plants, from mobilisation to handover.
• Manage reservoir refurbishment and other civils on live sites.
• Produce and manage programmes, monitor progress and resolve delays.
• Raise early warnings with the client.
• Ensure permits are submitted and up to date.
• Oversee design implementation and troubleshoot buildability with designers.
• Manage project costs, valuations and change with the commercial team.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and maintain relationships.
• Direct site teams, supervisors and subcontractors to deliver safely, with quality and on time.
• Ensure CDM 2015 and HSE standards are followed on every site.

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting an experienced Site Agent for engineering contractor delivering water, wastewater and civil engineering projects across the UK and Ireland. Based near Guildford, you will join the Non-Infrastructure team, running civils works at wastewater and sewage treatment plants, including reservoir refurbishment and repair, and other associated civil engineering works.

The Role

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering works at wastewater and sewage treatment plants, from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Managing reservoir refurbishment and repair works, together with other associated civils on live treatment sites.
• Producing and managing programmes, monitoring progress against plan and resolving delays or clashes early.
• Raising early warnings with the client
• Ensuring all permits are submitted and up to date for relevant works
• Oversee the design implementation and troubleshoot any issues with buildability with the designers
• Managing the commercial position of your projects, including costs, valuations, variations and change, working closely with the commercial team.
• Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for the client, building strong working relationships and keeping them informed.
• Managing and directing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors, and ensuring work is delivered safely, to quality and on time.
• Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and company health, safety and environmental standards on every site.

What We re Looking For

Pay & Contract

• Salary of £60,000 to £67,000, depending on experience.
