Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Civil engineering Site Agent / Site Manager to join their construction delivery team on wastewater treatment projects in the Poole region. The candidate should hold an HNC or degree in Civil Engineering and possess CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications, along with a valid driving license and willingness to travel between sites.

• Manage subcontractors, logistics and H&S reporting.
• Maintain site paperwork and progress logs.
• Act as temporary works co-ordinator, ensuring installation of temp works complies with design.

Our client a leading contractor to the UK water sector have an exciting vacancy for a Civil engineering Site Agent / Site manager to join their established construction delivery team.

Working on a number of large waste water treatment projects in the region on behalf of their Water Utility client.

The successful candidate should be HNC or Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline and must have an excellent understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Suitable site based qualifications such as CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS are also required.

As the role required travel between sites in the region a valid driving license and a willingness to travel for work is essential.

The core aspects of the role of Site Agent include:

• Working collaboratively with the clients design and commercial teams to enhance project delivery and manage risk
• management of the site to ensure work is completed safely, on time and budget and to quality standards required by the client
• management of subcontractors and logistics and H&S reporting
• maintaining site paperwork and progress logs
• act as temporary works co-ordinator, overseeing installation of temp works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
