Are you an experienced Site Manager or Site Agent with a passion for delivering high-quality projects; safely, on time and within budget? Do you have a track record of working on roads or highways projects? Do you want to join a dynamic and growing team that values your skills and offers you opportunities for career development? Octavius have an excellent reputation in the South East and we seek motivated individuals with an eye for quality. We have a scheme starting in Eastbourne, Sussex and would love to hear from you.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

• Ensuring you live the Octavius values and hold the Site / Project team to account to live by the same values.
• Manage the contract and agreed contract programme.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, company policies and procedures including the Octavius and customers' Governance process.
• Firmly adopting and embracing the principle that all of your people should go home safe, every day.
• Meeting teams and providing guidance and advice on correct processes both on and off site ensuring that we only employ processes that add value to your customers and people.
• Understanding of the project's financial position through regular and robust reviews with the commercial team.

About you…. (what you are skilled at your experience and qualifications)

• Good all-round rail, CDM and engineering knowledge with relevant experience in suitable disciplines, such as Temporary works, Civils, M&E, Geotechnical.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills, with an ability to manage actions simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
• Experienced at working with a tier one contracting group on infrastructure projects to include slab and kerb laying or general town centre and junction improvements.
• SMSTS competent.
• Good level of IT skills.
• Good level of programming and Conditions of contract (NEC, ICE, etc) knowledge.
