Job summary

VolkerLaser, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Site Agent to lead testing, surveys and investigations across Southampton and Guildford. You will coordinate programmes, manage risks, and ensure safe delivery to schedule and budget on infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates hold SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS and a Civil Engineering degree, with proven site leadership and strong stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Agent or in a similar role.
• Experience in surveys & investigations (PAS 128 Type A & B, etc).
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, ideally concrete structures or bridges.
• SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS qualifications.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage testing and survey activities from instruction through to final reporting.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and delivery schedules.
• Manage project risks, constraints and opportunities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to national standards.
• Act as primary day-to-day contact for National Highways, designers and supply chain partners.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to support framework growth.
