Job summary

VolkerLaser, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Site Agent to join its Southern team on a variety of projects in the Southampton and Guildford regions. You will own project delivery, lead high-performing teams, and ensure client expectations, quality standards and business objectives are met.

You will manage safe site operations, monitor progress and costs, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve budget and milestone targets while upholding CDM and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, e.g., concrete structures or bridges.
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans and safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and successful delivery of projects, ensuring programme, commercial and quality objectives are achieved.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, driving performance and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors to support successful outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, costs, risks and resources, implementing corrective actions.
• Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, standards and project requirements.
• Control project changes and assess programme and commercial impact.
• Support commercial management of projects with the Quantity Surveyor to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and design requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
