Job summary

Randstad CPE seeks a Site Agent with a solid civil infrastructure background to lead local authority highways and public realm schemes across Teesside and the North East. You will manage site teams, develop RAMS, and drive delivery under NEC frameworks on multi-million-pound projects.

The role is permanent and on-site, with a salary up to £62,000 plus a £7k car allowance, plus 27 days holiday, pension, and a local Teesside footprint to minimise long-distance commuting.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or minimum 10 years heavy civils experience).
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (minimum Gold or Black)
• Clean or low-point UK Driving Licence
• Proven track record delivering local authority highways, public realm, cycleways, or civil engineering schemes (£100k-£5m+)
• Solid operational knowledge of RAMS, CPPs, NEC contracts, weekly programming, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across regional highways, cycle lane infrastructure, and public realm improvements (£2.5m-£6m schemes).
• Run site ground teams, develop RAMS, manage 3-week lookaheads, and drive delivery under NEC frameworks.
