Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead civil engineering and non-infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion. You will manage site activities, resources, subcontractors and client relationships to deliver safe, on-time and within-budget outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, NEC3/CDM knowledge, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. A UK driving licence and CSCS/SMSTS are essential, with flexibility to travel between sites as required.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS card and SMSTS.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities for civil engineering and non-infrastructure projects.
• Ensure works comply with health and safety procedures and project requirements.
• Promote safety culture and ensure on-site personnel return home safely.
• Coordinate site resources including labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Monitor progress against the programme and provide regular updates.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet safety, quality and cost targets.
• Ensure Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and risk assessments are understood and implemented.
• Communicate changes, risks and issues to project team and client as required.
• Support planning and site preparation across the wider project team.
• Lead and motivate site teams to maintain high performance and quality.
