Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a high-profile civil infrastructure project in the South West. Based on-site in Plymouth, you will lead on-site construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and adherence to quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, review drawings, manage risks, and work with senior leadership to drive project milestones. Essential qualifications include civil engineering degree and CSCS card, with 5+ years site management

Qualifications

5+ years as Site Agent or 2+ years as Senior Engineer on large civil projects.
Strong technical understanding of construction processes and site management.
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office; able to produce reports.

Responsibilities

Provide strong on-site leadership with focus on safety, quality and collaboration.
Coordinate subcontractor activities and lead progress meetings.
Liaise with senior leadership to ensure smooth delivery.
Identify project risks and maintain the risk register.
Review drawings, specs and docs for accuracy.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Oversee planning and scheduling with subcontractors.
Support handover documentation.
