Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure Limited is seeking a Site Agent to manage civil engineering works on Highways projects across the M25, including day, night and weekend shifts. You will lead site operations, supervise delivery, and drive safety, quality, and cost control while ensuring client expectations are met.

The role requires NEC/CDM proficiency, relevant civil engineering qualification, and site management certification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects in highways.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM, risk and cost control.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS and SMSTS cards; NEBOSH or IOSH certification.

Job description

We are recruiting for a Site Agent to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

This role is working on Connect Plus' COFA 3 Framework, delivering improvements across the M25. Candidates need to be able to travel to all areas of the M25, as well as being able to commit to day, night and weekend shifts.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)Managing small-scale construction sites or supporting larger schemes within our Highways infrastructure portfolio. You'll ensure projects are delivered to client expectations while upholding the highest standards in health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. You'll lead site operations, manage programmes, supervise delivery, and drive innovation and efficiency in every aspect of the build.

The typical works on the framework cover:

• -Concrete Repairs
• -Bearing Replacement
• -Joint Replacement
• -Bridge Deck Waterproofing & Surfacing Works
• -Painting & Corrosion Protection
• -Ground Stabilisation & Earthworks
