Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure Ltd. is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil engineering teams delivering public realm, highways and infrastructure improvements across Sussex and the UK.

You will provide precise setting-out, support project delivery and uphold safety and quality standards on site. Working with Project Managers and delivery teams, you will contribute to ensuring projects meet programme requirements while developing your technical expertise and career progression within a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Engineer in civil, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting out and surveying capability.
• Experience with quality assurance processes and records (ITPs, inspection docs).
• Knowledge of Procore, BIM or similar digital delivery tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs confidently.
• Relevant engineering qualification and CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate setting out and ensure works meet QA standards.
• Support project delivery and coordinate with project teams on site.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to high quality.

We are recruiting for aSite Engineer to join us here at Octavius.

We're a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable and efficient infrastructure solutions that improve how people travel and connect across the UK.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

Exciting public realm, highways and infrastructure improvement projects across West and East Sussex, including our current work at Barnham and a growing pipeline of schemes delivered through long-term local authority partnerships. These projects are helping to improve communities, reduce congestion and create lasting infrastructure that people use every day.

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing these schemes to life, providing accurate setting out, supporting project delivery and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
