Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a major highways infrastructure project in the South West England region.

The role is a hands-on leadership position, driving delivery across road construction, drainage, kerbing and tie-ins, with a focus on safety and compliance within a Tier 1 environment. The contract is initial 6 months with potential to extend to around 12 months, Inside IR35, and Monday to Friday on-site.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are essential.
• Experience in major highways and Tier 1 contracting environments.
• Strong leadership and delivery capability with delivery-team accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead site delivery team on highways works ensuring compliance and programme.
• Coordinate across drainage, road construction, kerbing, and tie-ins.
• Provide direction and ownership to the delivery and engineering team on a major infrastructure scheme.

Site Agent – Highways

South West England | Contract | Inside IR35 | Major Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and major civil engineering projects?

Ganymede Solutions is recruiting for an established Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering a significant highways scheme in the South West. We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join an established delivery team and play a key role in taking the project through its remaining construction phase.

The Role

You’ll be working across the delivery of highways works including:

• Road construction
• Drainage
• Kerbing
• Tie-ins
• Highway connections

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for providing direction to members of the site delivery and engineering team while ensuring the high levels of compliance expected within a Tier 1 contracting environment. The scope of works reflects the underlying client brief.

• Strong Site Agent experience
• Major highways and roads experience
• Streetworks knowledge
• Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
• Site management and supervision experience
• Strong people and project-management skills
• Excellent leadership and accountability
• The confidence to take ownership and provide clear direction to a delivery team

Essential Qualifications

You’ll need:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering

The Contract
