Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is recruiting an experienced Site Agent to oversee highways construction on a major South West scheme. You will lead the site delivery and engineering teams, ensuring compliance, quality and programme milestones are met on a high-profile infrastructure project.

The role is hands-on with Monday to Friday site-based duties, requires strong leadership, SMSTS/CSCS and a Civil Engineering qualification, and offers a six-month initial contract with potential extension inside IR35.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS required.
• HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with major highways and Tier 1 contractor projects.

Responsibilities

Site Agent - Highways

South West England | Contract | Inside IR35 | Major Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and major civil engineering projects?

Ganymede Solutions is recruiting for an established Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering a significant highways scheme in the South West. We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join an established delivery team and play a key role in taking the project through its remaining construction phase.

The Role

You'll be working across the delivery of highways works including:

• Road construction
• Drainage
• Kerbing
• Tie-ins
• Highway connections

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for providing direction to members of the site delivery and engineering team while ensuring the high levels of compliance expected within a Tier 1 contracting environment. The scope of works reflects the underlying client brief.

What We're Looking For

We want to speak with experienced Site Agents who can demonstrate:

• Strong Site Agent experience
• Major highways and roads experience
• Streetworks knowledge
• Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
• Site management and supervision experience
• Strong people and project-management skills
• Excellent leadership and accountability
• The confidence to take ownership and provide clear direction to a delivery team

Essential Qualifications

You'll need:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering

The Contract

• Initial 6-month contract
• Potential to extend to approximately 12 months
• Inside IR35
• Monday to Friday, fully site based
