Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Site Agent to join our delivery team on a Civil Engineering infrastructure project in Southampton, England. This temporary, full-time position offers responsibility for a section of works, delivering safe, on-time, high-quality outputs with a focus on driving a right-first-time culture.

You will lead from the front, coordinating planning, programmes, cost controls, and stakeholder liaison while ensuring RAMS and other documentation are up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• SMSTS & CSCS certification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning, programming, and delivery of your section of works.
• Produce and monitor construction programmes and progress reports.
• Manage cost plans and oversee contractual elements of the project.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to ensure smooth delivery.
• Work closely with commercial teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead on health, safety, environment, and quality compliance.
• Review and approve RAMS, ITPs, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Works Managers to meet milestones.
• Ensure efficient and high-quality handover of completed works.

Are you a Site Agent looking to be a part of exciting Civil Engineering projects? If so, this could be the ideal next step for you. Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Site Agent to join their delivery team on a Civil Engineering infrastructure project. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering complex and rewarding works.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will take full responsibility for managing a section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be empowered to lead from the front, driving a \"right first time\" culture while contributing to the long-term success of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning, programming, and delivery of your section of works
