Projects include treatment works, pumping stations, network improvements and stormwater infrastructure, helping to improve the resilience and performance of essential water assets.
Working in an integrated design-and-build environment, you'll oversee day-to-day site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to the required standards. - Plan and coordinate self-delivery activities, managing directly employed operatives, labour, plant, materials and site resources to maintain productivity.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, overseeing site logistics, procurement and the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with design, commercial, project management and health and safety teams to resolve issues, manage risks and identify opportunities to improve delivery.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme, maintain accurate site records and provide regular updates to the project team and client.
- Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are followed throughout construction.
- Act as Temporary Works Coordinator where required, overseeing temporary works activities and ensuring installations comply with approved designs and procedures.
- Support the completion, commissioning and handover of projects, ensuring works meet client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Site Agent, Sub Agent or in a similar site management role within civil engineering or infrastructure.
- Experience delivering water or wastewater projects would be advantageous, particularly treatment works, pumping stations, pipeline networks or wastewater infrastructure.
- Previous experience with self-delivery projects is strongly preferred, including managing directly employed site teams and coordinating labour, plant and resources.
- CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- HNC, degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods and site management.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple site activities and stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites across Oxfordshire and the surrounding region.
- 26 days' annual leave.
- Enhanced pension scheme.
- Life assurance and private medical care.
- Company bonus.
- Long-term career progression and development opportunities through an established water infrastructure framework.
