Job summary

TLG Infrastructure Limited is recruiting a Civils Site Agent on a freelance basis to support a regional civil engineering contractor. The role involves groundworks, drainage, earthworks and stabilisation works as part of a larger package.

You will manage daily site operations, supervise staff and subcontractors, monitor progress, ensure safety, control costs and maintain records to support project completion and handover. Start with a 1-week notice and minimum 9 months work.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and construction activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly.
• Monitor project progress and meet programme targets.
• Work close with the Senior Site Engineer on deliverable and any obstructions
• Supervise site staff, labour and subcontractors.
• Check the quality of construction work.
• Manage labour, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Resolve site, technical and construction issues.
• Monitor costs, variations and resource use.
• Communicate with the client, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain site records and support project completion and handover.

Civils Site Agent responsibilities:
