Job summary

TLG Infrastructure is recruiting a Site Engineer to join a client delivering civil engineering and internal demolition works in Grimsby. You will manage and supervise site activities, carry out setting out, levelling and surveying, and read engineering drawings.

You will monitor quality and progress, resolve issues and coordinate with the Site Manager and operatives. You will prepare site records, RAMS, permits and health & safety requirements, and assist with project documentation.

Qualifications

• Setting out, levelling and surveying on site.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plans.
• Monitoring quality and progress to specifications.
• Providing on-site technical support and issue resolution.
• Coordinating with Site Manager, operatives and client.
• Preparing and maintaining site records and inspections.
• Assisting with RAMS, permits, risk assessments and health & safety requirements.

TLG Infrastructure are actively recruiting for a Site Engineer to work for a client of ours delivering a mixture of civil engineering and internal demolition works.

Scope of work will involve a mixture of drainage, rc slab construction, steel works and internal demolition works.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise civil engineering, demolition, groundworks and construction activities on site.
• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying using Total Station, GPS and laser levels.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction plans.
• Monitor quality, progress and compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues on site.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, operatives and client

Ideal start is in October however we can start someone sooner if available.
