The ideal candidate will manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, as well as client liaison and documentation management. Relevant qualifications such as Black or Gold CSCS and SMSTS are required for this key position.

Qualifications

• Experience managing major civil engineering or infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong background in delivering earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, or heavy civils packages required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure health and safety compliance.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a major civils package on Sizewell C, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a key infrastructure package as part of one of the UK's largest construction projects.

Site Agent Responsibilities

• Toolbox talks
• Client liaison
• Health and safety compliance
• Ordering materials
• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Driving the delivery of the civils package from start to completion
• Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
• Managing site documentation, RAMS, and permits
• Overseeing quality control and as-built records

Site Agent Requirements

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous experience managing major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong background delivering earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, or heavy civils packages
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
