Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major civils and groundworks project in Norwich. You will oversee earthworks, drainage, foundations, utilities and RC works, ensuring safe, on-program delivery to the highest quality standards.

Working on a long-term infrastructure scheme, you will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, review drawings and RAMS, and liaise with the Project Manager and client to maintain productivity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent on civils and groundworks projects.
• Strong background delivering infrastructure, roads, drainage, earthworks, RC, or utilities projects.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of civils and groundworks packages
• Coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and plant operations
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme
• Monitor progress and resolve any site issues to maintain productivity
• Review and implement drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
• Maintain high standards of quality control and site documentation
• Produce and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, and wider project team
• Manage labour, materials, and plant requirements

Shift: Day Shift

Rate: £400-£500 per day (DOE)

Start: Immediate / ASAP

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a major civils and groundworks project in the Norwich area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure scheme, overseeing the successful delivery of earthworks, drainage, foundations, utilities, and reinforced concrete works.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
