Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead day-to-day site operations on a major civil engineering project in the UK. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery to high quality standards, with responsibility for coordinating construction teams and subcontractors on site.

You will ensure works are executed in line with drawings, specifications and programme, and you will review RAMS and ITPs along with other critical project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure or heavy civils projects.
• Proven ability to manage site operations and construction teams.
• SMSTS and CSCS card holder preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and coordinate construction teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel on multiple trade disciplines.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specs and programme requirements.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established and highly regarded civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and heavy civil engineering projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, tunnelling, groundworks, or heavy civils to take responsibility for delivering a major project successfully. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and coordinating site activities and construction teams.
• Supervising subcontractors and site personnel.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Reviewing RAMS, ITPs and other project documentation.

The Successful Site Agent Will Have:

• Experience working as a Site Agent or Site Manager
• A background in civils, infrastructure, utilities, groundworks or similar projects.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• Commutable to Swindon
