Job summary

Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital in London is seeking a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to lead on the ward, ensuring efficient operation, patient safety and a seamless care journey for every patient.

You will be NMC registered with post‑registration senior experience across cardiac, colorectal, orthopaedic, ENT, gynae and urology, and you will champion a supportive, professional culture while working closely with consultants to deliver personalised care.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and post-registration senior ward nursing experience.
• Experience in pre and post-operative care across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Support the Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward
• Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
• Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care

As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse at our prestigious Highgate Hospital you'll be NMC registered with excellent leadership skills

and you’ll hold post-registration experience at a senior level in the care of patients, pre and post operatively in everything from Cardiac to Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae and Urology.

As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, you will:
