Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Ward on the Oxford Hospital site on a part-time basis, with bank shifts and weekend work. You will be registered with the NMC and bring post-registration ward experience to support exceptional patient care.

As part of a close-knit team headed by our matron, you’ll be flexible, a strong communicator and a team player, dedicated to understanding each patient’s needs and delivering safe, compassionate care across a busy clinical

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Post-registration experience on a ward or hospital setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ward nursing duties within Oxford Hospital on the Ward.
• Provide high-quality patient care with attention to safety and details.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure continuity of care.

Up to £25 per hour depending on skills and experience

You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
